Cold

January 3, 2012

This morning in Charleston, Folbot’s home town, the temperature was 28 degrees with a wind chill of 21 — our first real cold day of the winter. In honor of the chilly temperatures, we thought we would share this photo of a paddler in Dubai:

Ahhhh…

Endless Summer

August 24, 2010

It’s good to know that regardless of the weather you can get out and paddle your Folbot.

Whether it is hot

or cold

it’s always nice to get out for a paddle.

But, with the kids now back in school — and they say that summer is supposed to be over — it raises an important (dare I say burning) question: why is it still so ridiculously hot?

C’mon fall! Now that’s paddling weather!

Spectacular Photos

January 20, 2010

We are fortunate that so many Folbot paddlers share with us photos from the adventures they undertake.  We’re thrilled to post them on the Folbot website so everyone can see some of the amazing places Folbots go.

Just the other day, a Folboter in the Middle East, Craig Reynolds, sent a photo of Dubai taken from his Kodiak (named Raindancer). It’s an unusual shot of the Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel — from a kayaker’s perspective.

Spectacular! Thanks, Craig.

We thought you would like to see some photos that arrived today — they couldn’t be paddling in much more different climes! Check out Folbots in Dubai and Alaska.
