Higher Education

I was invited to speak to a marketing class at the College of Charleston earlier this week.  Whenever I have the opportunity to talk to a group I bring a Folbot and have some volunteers assemble it while I speak. This time I brought a Citibot.

It is always interesting to see how fast the volunteers can put the boat together (I challenge them to beat the 12.5 minutes I did it in while we were filming the Citibot assembly video).

Under pressure from their peers and not ever having assembled a Folbot (or having a clue what a longeron is), the two CofC students did a pretty nice job of putting the Citibot together in under 30 minutes. Not bad for a first assembly. If they had read the instructions, I am pretty sure they would have done it even faster!
