One of the great things about living and working in Charleston is the abundance of wildlife. One species that I never get tired of seeing are the dolphins.
They are very active in the ocean and the harbor, and they even come up the Ashley River to where we do the Folbot test paddles.
Yesterday, I saw some kayakers (including one that was paddling a Cooper) in the middle of a pod of the cool mammals. And this morning — while I was on a pre-dawn run — I could hear some coming up to breathe, which is a surprising and wonderful sound in the dark.
No matter how many times I see them, it’s a treat.
