Warm and Dry

Today is pretty much the day you don’t want to go paddling in Charleston (Folbot’s home town) or across most of the southern and eastern US.

We awoke to the clatter of sleet smacking into the house. It was about 32 degrees. Then the temperature started dropping. The roads are icy, the bridges are frozen and dire warnings to stay home (if possible) are spouting from all media outlets.

Schools are closed (kids are thrilled) and the government is pretty much shut for the day.

But it does look pretty on the weather map.

Please be safe and stay dry.
